About Me: Professional Experience

From a fascination with manipulating audio in interesting ways at a young age to joining Meta to help design the sound of the metaverse, I have had a lifelong passion with using sounds to convey meaning and feeling.

I am a Sound Designer on the Creative Audio team at Meta where I create high-quality audio user experiences for spatial and embodied computing.

Prior to joining Meta, I was Partner/Head of Audio for Headspace Studio‘s Los Angeles facility where I led interactive audio for Felix & Paul Studios, as well as working with a variety of development teams at companies like Sony Music Entertainment.

From 2015-2018, I worked at Technicolor Sound Services, both at the TV & Film facility on the Paramount Studios lot and at the games-focused Sound Lab studio in Burbank, and at Formosa Interactive.

I have worked in-house on AAA games as Audio Lead managing a team of sound designers, audio programmer, and freelance composers at Turtle Rock Studios, as well as music and sound supervision at EA & Pandemic Studios. Prior to joining the game industry, I worked at Line 6 on GuitarPort, an interactive guitar learning tool, and at advertising & marketing agencies Siegel+Gale and DDB Needham. At the age of 18, I started a ‘zine which I grew into an internationally distributed quarterly magazine. As publisher, I managed a team, including a managing editor, a business manager, and sales reps, to grow distribution from a few hundred photocopied ‘zines to a circulation of 10,000.
